Wearer of many hats @ BoxCast on our 🚀 to the 🌙. Building the world's simplest and most powerful live video platform for organizations, starting with a combined hardware+software offering. We build incredible video encoders, a complete microservice-based cloud video pipeline (AWS + Golang + C + Ruby), applications for broadcasters, and great viewer experiences on web, mobile, and TV.

Served in player-coach capacity while managing a team of 5 engineers (and some interns) on our web product development efforts (Python, Angular, React). Successfully launched and iterated on multiple products. Obtained DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Wanted to use my love of data to help improve medicine and delivery of care. Worked on a brand new population management application and microservices (React+Ruby+Java). Left in the wake of the acquisition by IBM.

Led all web and mobile efforts (design, architecture, development, devops) for this fascinating company that built hardware+software solutions for the car wash industry. Launched and iterated on multiple new products including StatWatch, IndustryWatch, SmartCodes, and the TunnelWatch v4 overhaul (turning a legacy tunnel controller into a modern web app).

Fell in love with Python while working on a wide array of projects for various e-card and digital photo sites (including rewrite/migration of PhotoWorks). Got first hand experience planning for and managing extreme consumer traffic spikes during holidays.
